Dr. Noëlle Liwski Hanson, PhD, RPsych
Dr. Noëlle Liwski Hanson is a Registered Psychologist in Alberta and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Palliative Medicine, Department of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Alberta. She owns Blue Sky Psychology Group in St. Albert and offers individual counselling, psychological assessment and clinical supervision.
Dr. Liwski Hanson completed her APA-accredited PhD
in Counselling Psychology from Purdue University and her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency in the US Veterans Affairs Health Care System, specializing in Medical/Health Psychology and Palliative Care. She worked formerly as a Clinical Psychologist in inpatient and outpatient settings in the Department of Psychosocial
and Spiritual Resources at the Cross Cancer Institute and the Tertiary Palliative Care Unit at Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
Dr. Liwski Hanson’s professional and personal interests include mindfulness, yoga, and the
values-based psychotherapy modality Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She most
values spending time with her family and two super friendly dogs, Rosie and Daisy.
